Student senators, executives elected for 2011-12
Jamestown College students have elected their Student Senate Executive Board and Senators for the 2011-12 school year.
Caleb Grossman, a senior from Grand Rapids, Minn., was elected president. Murika Bauer, a senior from Dickinson, was elected vice president. Jacie Fabro, a senior from Woodbury, Minn., was elected secretary. Joe Fabro, a sophomore from Woodbury, Minn., was elected treasurer. Stephanie Erlandson, a junior from Breckenridge, Minn., was elected press secretary.
Senators elected to represent the senior class are Beth Bittner, Aberdeen, S.D.; Taylor Christianson, Cavalier; Drew Jones, Coos Bay, Ore.; Jonathan Leonard, Rolla; Maggie McLean, Hillsboro; and Jacob Niemeier, Jamestown.
Junior Senators are Warren Abrahamson, Malta, Mont.; Hannah Cotton, Little Falls, Minn.; Katelynn Hodem, LaMoure; Leah Olmstead, Fargo; Jeremy Olson, Jamestown; and Scott Roemmich, Linton.
Sophomore Senators are Courtney Diestler, Fergus Falls, Minn.; Amanda Horner, Bismarck; Carlotta Jo Rasmussen, Richville, Minn.; Tommy Rockis, Roseau, Minn.; Katie Roehm, Carpio; and Nathan Schultz, Long Prairie, Minn.
Freshman Senators will be elected in the fall.
The Jamestown College Student Senate initiates student reforms, organizes and promotes activities on campus, and nominates students to faculty committees. The Senate is comprised of six elected senators from each of the four classes, a five-member executive board, some ex-officio members and a staff adviser.
