Nursing students named to leadership positions

Members of the Jamestown College Nursing Student Association were elected to five positions on the Nursing Students Association of North Dakota (NSAND) Board at the organization’s State Convention held recently in Bismarck.

Michelle Tompkins, Milnor, N.D., was named Membership Director. Jackie McDougall, Rolla, N.D., and Justine Reimers, Wimbledon, N.D., were named Co-Editors of the Vital Issues newsletter. Courtney Jindra, Brainerd, Minn., was named to the Fundraising position on the Board. Austin Fitterer, Flasher, N.D., was named to the Community Health position.

The convention was attended by students from seven nursing education programs.
