Jamestown College’s student newspaper was recognized at the Associated Collegiate Press Best of the Midwest student journalism conference held recently in Minneapolis.
Editor-in-Chief Masaki Ova and the news staff of the Student Media Center received third place for the Feb. 8 edition of The Collegian.

The Convocation Committee at Jamestown College is hosting “An Evening with the Arts” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 in the Reiland Fine Arts Center lobby. The event is free and open to the public.
The evening includes a preview of the next Jamestown College Theatre production; student artwork; new sculptures by Art Department chairperson Sharon Cox; music from Leanne Villareal, soprano, and Lexy Weber, piano; and a preview of new content received by Jamestown College’s Raugust Library from the National Endowment for the Humanities Bridging Cultures initiative. read more »
The Performing Arts Series at Jamestown College continues with a performance by Sonic Escape at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 in the Reiland Fine Arts Center’s DeNault Auditorium.

The Jamestown College Concert Choir will present its Home Concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 at the Basilica of St. James, Jamestown. The concert is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be received.
The Choir visited Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois and Minnesota on the tour March 10-18. read more »
