Jamestown College students Leah Jystad of Jamestown and Caleb Grossman of Grand Rapids, Minn., were crowned 2011 Homecoming Queen and King at a coronation ceremony on Monday, Oct. 10.
Jystad is pursuing a major in elementary education and a minor in Character in Leadership. She is active in Jimmie Ambassadors, SNDEA, Alpha Chi honor society and intramural athletics. She is the daughter of Phil and Shelly Jystad. read more »
Jamestown College’s 2011-12 Performing Arts Series continues with the musical comedy troupe “The Water Coolers” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13 in the Reiland Fine Arts Center’s DeNault Auditorium.
Jamestown College will celebrate the success of its graduates in the fields of science and mathematics at the College’s fourth All-Science and Math Symposium on Friday, Oct. 14 in conjunction with Homecoming 2011 activities.
Several Jamestown College alumni will make presentations throughout the day beginning at 9 a.m., and Dr. Kerstin Leuther, a 1988 graduate of Jamestown College, will deliver the keynote address at 5 p.m.
