Dr. Gary Watts, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Jamestown College, announces 245 students have been named to the Dean’s List for the 2013 spring semester.
The Dean’s List includes all full-time students who, during any given semester, earn a grade point average of 3.50 or better on a minimum of 12 semester credits.
Jamestown College’s Department of Business, Accounting and Economics has been recognized by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) for achieving reaffirmation of accreditation.
Jamestown College offers four majors accredited by IACBE: accounting; business administration (with concentrations in accounting, business communication, financial planning, general management, global business, hospitality and tourism management, and marketing); financial planning and wealth management; and liberal arts business studies. read more »
Jamestown College presented bachelor’s degrees to 160 graduates during the school’s 107th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11 at the Jamestown Civic Center.
Tessa Gould, Washington, D.C., delivered the Commencement address. Ms. Gould is a 1996 graduate of Jamestown College and serves as Chief of Staff to Sen. Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota.
Alumni Hall of Fame inductees recognized at Commencement were 1979 graduate Susanne Conrad, Mainz, Germany; 1958 graduate Dr. Kenneth Metz, Monroeville, Pa.; and 1988 graduate Jeff Young, West Fargo, N.D.

Jamestown College is one of five schools forming a new National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) conference in the Upper Midwest.
